Winner of the 2024 SADC Literary Prize for Poetry, he has been shortlisted twice for the Ibua publishing contest in both 2021 and 2022, longlisted for the Kendeka prize for African Literature in 2022, shortlisted for the Gerald Kraak Prize awards, longlisted for the Abubakar Gimba Prize for creative nonfiction in 2023. Ewa has been published in many indigenous and international literary websites and journals such as Isele, Decolonial Passage, Uncanny, Afritondo, Brittle paper and elsewhere.
